The trend of threatening to blow up schools with bombs in emails sent to Delhi-NCR public schools is still going strong. The Delhi Fire Service reports that it has received complaints about threats from one hundred schools thus far.

Emails being sent with the help of Russian servers

Schools began receiving emails in the morning. According to the investigation agency, emails are being sent to everyone from the same mail ID with the assistance of Russian servers. Threatening letters were sent to the schools, which announced holidays.

In addition, other schools likewise announced holidays as a precaution. The police and parents are experiencing more headaches as a result of the threatening emails that have been sent to numerous schools one after another.

LG visits school

Deputy Governor VK Saxena also visited DAV Public School in Model Town and assessed the situation after realizing how serious the situation was. Conversely, Police Commissioner Sanjay Arora was summoned to the Home Ministry by Home Secretary Ajay Bhalla, who obtained comprehensive information from him.

The IB Chief took part in a meeting about this matter that was also held in the ministry. The investigation into this matter has been conducted by the Crime Branch and Special Cell.

Delhi Police investigating with the help of Interpol

With Interpol’s assistance, Delhi Police has begun an investigation. According to the investigation conducted thus far, all of the schools have received identical emails.

Although RU and dot com were written at the end of the threat email, pointing towards Russia, it is not a given that all of the emails were sent from Russia to the schools.

Even in India, this conspiracy can be hatched. All school IDs are readily available online, allowing for easy email correspondence.
